Spiritual Development
Pentecost 4 Life identifies, provides, and creates podcasts, print and digital materials, and programs that help you appreciate God, the move of the Holy Spirit, and the life of the mind.
Explore spiritual developmentThe Pentecost for Life Foundation supports Christian leaders in churches, ministries, schools, neighborhoods, and community groups. We welcome anyone who follows Jesus Christ and wants to deepen their biblical knowledge, grow spiritually, and share their faith. Through our ministries and institute, we help leaders, churches, and groups serve those in need, connect people of all ages in social justice work, and pursue justice with wisdom, compassion, and dignity in our diverse and constantly changing world.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
— Acts 1:8
Our approach
We don’t separate the life of the mind from the life of the Spirit. Every workshop, podcast episode, and print resource we produce is built to hold both together — rigorous engagement with Scripture and doctrine, paired with a real expectation that the Holy Spirit is at work in the room.
That shows up in four commitments we return to again and again: holiness, public witness, actualization, and scholarship. Whether you’re a pastor, a lay leader, or someone new to the faith, the Institute exists to help you grow in all four — not just the ones that come easily.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
— Romans 12:2

What we do
Every program, broadcast, and resource we create flows from our belief that discipleship is intellectual, spiritual, and social.

Explore spiritual developmentFaith grows when the mind is renewed. We offer online and in-person continuing education programs in theology, biblical studies, social ethics, math, and science — including the Pentecost 4 Life eLearning Institute and STEM Compass, led by Dr. Valerie Bennett.
Explore education programsThe family is the first community God created. We partner with other organizations to provide programs and resources that strengthen the traditional family — rooted in biblical truth, practical wisdom, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Explore family resourcesThose who love God must also love justice. We engage racism, discrimination, socioeconomic inequity, crime prevention, and other moral challenges through biblical teaching, social ethics workshops, and community partnerships.
Explore social justice workThe Spirit & the Village
Each episode explores how the Holy Spirit can help us navigate life, culture, and community — biblical literacy, Christian doctrine, public witness, and connecting different generations.
